Biography

Robert Knepper, the son of a veterinarian, was born in Fremont, Ohio, and raised in Maumee, near Toledo. His mother worked in the props department of the community theater, and her involvement sparked his interest in acting. Knepper began his theater career in his hometown and later majored in theater at Northwestern University. He has performed in more than one hundred professional theatrical productions worldwide. He currently resides in Southern California.
