In the season four premiere, the Ross kids believe Jessie is returning to Africa to reconcile with her ex-fiancé, Brooks, and they secretly travel there to stop her, leading to an unexpected and adventurous journey.

Jessie's stepsister Darla arrives for a visit, prompting Jessie to ask Tony for help hiding the fact that she called off her wedding. At the same time, Luke attempts his first shave, and Bertram's assistance leads to a messy and chaotic situation.

The Ross family is forced to adjust to a new reality when they discover their parents have lost all their wealth, requiring them to navigate life with significantly fewer financial resources.
