Laverne & Shirley
Laverne & Shirley is an American television sitcom that aired on ABC from January 27, 1976, to May 10, 1983. The series starred Penny Marshall as Laverne De Fazio and Cindy Williams as Shirley Feeney, two single roommates who worked as bottlecappers at a fictional Milwaukee brewery known as "Shotz Brewery." The show originated as a spin-off from Happy Days, with the two lead characters first appearing on that series as friends of Fonzie. Set in the same general time period as Happy Days, the timeline of Laverne & Shirley spanned from approximately 1958 to 1967. Like its predecessor, the series was produced by Paramount Television, created by Garry Marshall, and executive produced by Garry Marshall, Edward K. Milkis, and Thomas L. Miller.
