Lucy Savage, a New York heiress, arrives in Tangier in 1955 after a transatlantic voyage, eager to begin a new life with her husband, Hugo. However, when Hugo does not greet her as she anticipated, Lucy becomes drawn into the unexpected and vibrant world of the city, encountering its diverse and sometimes decadent social landscape.
