Narcos: Mexico is an American crime drama television series created by Chris Brancato, Carlo Bernard, and Doug Miro. It premiered on Netflix on November 16, 2018, and was initially conceived as the fourth season of the Narcos series before being developed as a standalone companion series. The show explores the rise of Mexico's illegal drug trade, contrasting with the parent series' focus on Colombia's drug trade. Its second season aired on February 13, 2020, and on October 28, 2020, Netflix announced a third and final season, which premiered on November 5, 2021. Actor Diego Luna, who portrayed Félix Gallardo, did not return for the final season.
