Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television
In this series, the LAPD forms a task force that pairs actors with homicide detectives. A self-aware half-hour comedy, the show, which includes a show within a show within a show, blends Hollywood satire with action-comedy procedural elements. It stars Ryan Hansen as an actor partnered with Detective Jessica Mathers, played by Samira Wiley. The series features a number of notable stars portraying exaggerated versions of themselves, including Joel McHale, Donald Faison, Eric Christian Olsen, Jon Cryer, and Kristen Bell.
