When the Police Service of Northern Ireland is unable to close a case within 28 days, Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson from the Metropolitan Police Service is brought in to review the matter. Under her leadership, local detectives are tasked with tracking down and stopping a serial killer who is terrorizing Belfast.
