The Munsters

Tom Daily invites the Munsters to a masquerade ball, where they dress in outlandish costumes—Marilyn as Priscilla, Lily as Little Bo Peep, Grandpa as Napoleon, and Herman as King Arthur. Eddie stays home with Mrs. Morton as his temporary sitter.

Grandpa accidentally creates a love potion intended to make members of the opposite sex become infatuated with whoever consumes it.

Herman, unable to sleep, takes late-night walks in the park to unwind, but Lily is concerned after hearing reports of a mysterious creature seen there. Unbeknownst to her, Herman is the source of the sightings.

Herman and Grandpa mistakenly believe Lily is pregnant after overhearing a conversation between her and Marilyn, while the real reason for the family's surprise is that Dr. Dudley's son, Elmer, is visiting the Munsters while his parents are away on vacation.

The Munsters face a dilemma when a gas company proposes running a pipeline beneath their home, only to discover it would pass through Grandpa's underground laboratory.

Marilyn suffers from insomnia and, in an attempt to help her sleep, Grandpa mistakenly gives her a Sleeping Beauty potion, putting her into a magical slumber that can only be broken by a prince's kiss. Lily and Herman place an ad in the newspaper to find a prince, but only attract unemployed actors. Meanwhile, Grandpa tries to strike a deal with an oil company for the rights to his magic pill that converts water into gasoline.

The Munsters are selected by Event Magazine as the model American family, but Grandpa takes offense at being called "average" and vanishes, putting the family's photo shoot and prize money at risk. Herman and Lily mistake an arriving journalist and photographer for burglars, adding to the chaos.

Grandpa feels ignored by the Munster family and leaves, initially dismissed by Lily and Herman as a temporary attention-seeking stunt. When he does not return, they grow concerned and set out to find him, eventually discovering he is performing a magic act at a local nightclub.

Eddie is upset about being teased at school and wants to leave. With Grandpa's help, he tries a magical potion to grow taller, but it instead causes him to suddenly grow a full beard and mustache.

Eddie attempts to bring Igor the bat to a school pet fair, but Igor flees after being insulted. Unbeknownst to Eddie, Grandpa transforms into a bat to replace Igor, only for Eddie to unknowingly give Grandpa to a classmate whose father plans to send him to space for a scientific experiment.

Herman and Grandpa are mistakenly given $18,000 in cash by a bank employee who thinks they are robbers. After realizing the error, Herman becomes determined to return the money, leading the two to attempt a midnight return that ends with them trapped inside the bank's vault.

Herman enrolls in dancing lessons to take Marilyn to her school dance, but at Happy Havemeyer’s Dancing School, he is tricked into signing a ten-year contract for 1,500 lessons at $7.50 each, mistakenly believing he will become a dance instructor.

Ultimately, the family concludes the club does not align with their values.

The Munsters inherit a large sum in gold doubloons from a relative in Transylvania, and when a bank employee comes to collect the deposit, he becomes smitten with Marilyn.
