The Phantom Thief YAMANEKO
Yamaneko is a notoriously elusive figure, known for making appearances wherever large sums of money are stolen. Evidence of his bold crimes is often left scattered at the scene. In every episode, Yamaneko, the hero thief, confronts the audience with his brand of “rotten justice.” He pretentiously refers to himself as a “genius thief” and displays an arrogant, world-dominating attitude. His actions are consistently bold and daring, yet he remains difficult to catch. There is indeed no equal to Yamaneko. He operates by a single personal creed: “I will steal, but I won’t deprive.” The question remains: why does he steal, and what exactly drives him?
