A grieving son tries to build a new romance with an unpredictable woman, only to confront the lingering impact of his late father's sudden, late‑life awakening; he must reconcile love and loss before both relationships fall apart.

Synopsis
Oliver meets Anna, an irreverent and unpredictable woman, just months after his father, Hal Fields, has died. This new relationship brings back memories of Hal, who, after the death of his wife of 44 years, came out of the closet at age 75 and embarked on a full, energized, and tumultuous gay life, which included being in a relationship with a younger man.
