Christmas Eve on Sesame Street
Synopsis
In this episode of *Sesame Street*, the characters are getting ready for Christmas. Bert and Ernie exchange gifts in a manner reminiscent of "The Gift of the Magi," Cookie Monster is determined to obtain his most desired treat of the season, and Big Bird becomes concerned when Oscar the Grouch tells him that if Santa Claus cannot fit down the chimney on Christmas Eve, no one will receive presents. To help Big Bird, Grover and Kermit the Frog, along with some interviewed children, decide to assist in an investigation. However, when Big Bird takes it upon himself to resolve the issue, the entire neighborhood is thrown into a frantic effort to locate him.
