Synopsis
Set during Prohibition, the story follows a group of friends who end up in prison after Stan sells some of their homemade beer to a policeman. While incarcerated, Stan's loose tooth causes repeated trouble, as it makes it sound like he's giving others a raspberry. However, this quirk earns him the respect of The Tiger, a tough inmate. When The Tiger attempts an escape, the boys manage to slip away with him. They disguise themselves in blackface and take refuge on a cotton plantation, but are soon discovered and recaptured by the warden. Back in prison, they are caught in the crossfire of a chaotic battle between the state militia and armed prisoners during The Tiger's second escape attempt.
