Synopsis

Allen Karroll harbors a deep dislike for Christmas, a sentiment that began after his ex-girlfriend publicly humiliated him in front of thousands during the holiday. As a greeting card writer, his aversion to the season poses a significant challenge. His animosity extends to his neighbor, Zeb Rosecog, a former CEO of Karroll's previous greeting card company, who takes pleasure in tormenting him. One day, Karroll is unexpectedly visited by the ghost of Jacob Marley (a relative of Bob Marley), followed by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future—in that order. The ghosts, however, have mistakenly arrived at the wrong address, having intended to visit Rosecog. Through this experience, Karroll gains new insight into himself and his neighbor, realizing they share more in common than he previously thought. Ultimately, he decides to help Rosecog embrace the spirit of Christmas and rediscover its joy.
