Biography

Verne Jay Troyer was an American actor and comedian, best known for his role as Mini-Me in the *Austin Powers* film series. Born with cartilage–hair hypoplasia, a rare genetic disorder that affects growth and the immune system, Troyer stood 2 ft 8 in (81 cm) tall. In addition to acting, he occasionally worked as a stunt coordinator and performer. Troyer's portrayal of Mini-Me, a miniature doppelgänger of the film's villain Dr. Evil, became one of his most iconic and widely recognized roles. His work in the comedy franchise brought him international fame and established him as a notable figure in popular culture.
