Synopsis
Omar Mukhtar, a resistance leader, opposed Italian colonization in Libya prior to World War II. The intense guerrilla conflict he waged against Italian General Rodolfo Graziani and Mussolini's Fascist forces underscores the broader struggle for Libyan independence and the severe tactics employed by the colonial power.
