Synopsis
Longfellow Deeds lives a simple life in a small town. After a relative dies and leaves him a large inheritance, he moves to the city, where he quickly becomes the target of many people. He manages to outsmart them all until he meets Babe Bennett. The meeting of a small-town man and a big-city woman leads to a series of unpredictable events.
