A determined group of underdog high school students, with no robotics experience and a shoestring budget, build a robot and challenge MIT in a national competition, defying the odds and forging unbreakable bonds along the way.

Synopsis
With the support of their high school's newest teacher, four Hispanic students establish a robotics club. Despite having no prior experience, the students aim to compete in a national robotics competition. Using $800 and parts salvaged from old cars, they construct a robot and challenge reigning champion MIT. Throughout the process, the students learn not only how to build a robot but also a more valuable lesson: how to form lasting bonds with one another.
