Synopsis
Pakistan-born comedian Kumail Nanjiani and graduate student Emily Gardner fall in love, but their relationship faces challenges due to cultural differences. When Emily develops a mysterious illness, Kumail is compelled to confront her assertive parents, the expectations of his own family, and his genuine emotions.
