Biography

Zoe Kazan is an American actress and writer known for her work in independent and character-driven films. She has appeared in a variety of roles, including in *The Savages* (2007), *Revolutionary Road* (2008), and *It's Complicated* (2009). Kazan also starred in *Happythankyoumoreplease* (2010), *Meek's Cutoff* (2010), *Ruby Sparks* (2012), *What If* (2013), *The Big Sick* (2017), *The Ballad of Buster Scruggs* (2018), and *She Said* (2022). In addition to acting, she has contributed to screenwriting, notably writing *Ruby Sparks* and co-writing *Wildlife* (2018) with her partner, actor Paul Dano.
