Synopsis

After her father's ship is taken away by a sudden storm, the spirited Pippi Longstocking is left alone with her horse, Alfonso, and her pet monkey, Mr. Neilson, and settles into the old family home, which local children believe to be haunted. Soon, two children, Tommy and his sister Anika, enter the house and meet Pippi. The three quickly become friends and embark on various adventures together, including cleaning the floor with scrubbing shoes, dodging the "splunks," sliding down a waterfall in barrels, and helping Pippi deal with the problem of being sent to an orphanage. Older children will likely get the most out of this movie.
