The Shaggy Dog

Preteen Moochie Daniels wants a dog, but his father, Daniel, is allergic to canines. Bundles, a shabby sheepdog belonging to neighbor Charlie Mulvihill, is a key player in a scheme, as Charlie has secretly trained the dog to help him steal jewels. Mooch's older brother, Wilbert "Wilby," is intelligent, shy, and a promising inventor, though he is hopelessly clumsy with girls and envious of his smooth-talking friend Trey. In a desperate move, Wilby uses a spell from the ring of Lucrezia Borgia, which he had previously acquired from his father's museum of curiosities. The spell transforms him into Bundles and back at unpredictable intervals. Through this transformation, Wilby discovers that the diamond on loan in his father's museum is Charlie's next target.
