Biography

Jon Raymond Polito was an American actor whose career spanned over 35 years and included more than 220 film and television credits. He portrayed Detective Steve Crosetti in the first two seasons of *Homicide: Life on the Street* and played Phil Bartoli in the first season of *Crime Story*. Polito appeared in several notable films, including *The Rocketeer*, *The Crow*, and *Gangster Squad*. He worked extensively with the Coen brothers, appearing in five of their films, such as *Miller's Crossing*, *Barton Fink*, and *The Big Lebowski*. In Tim Burton's 2014 film *Big Eyes*, Polito played Enrico Banducci, a significant supporting role as the owner of the hungry i nightclub.
