Synopsis
On September 1, 2001, Irish rock band U2 returned to their roots with two outdoor concerts at Slane Castle in Ireland. The venue held special significance for the band, as it was where they recorded the landmark album *The Unforgettable Fire* in 1984 and where they made their first appearance at Slane in 1981, opening for Thin Lizzy. The concert film *U2 Go Home* captures the emotional intensity of the homecoming, featuring 19 live tracks from the performances.
