Biography

Dean Gerard Winters is an American actor known for his diverse roles in television and film. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Ryan O'Reily in the HBO prison drama *Oz* and has appeared in a variety of TV series, including *Millennium*, *Rescue Me*, *30 Rock*, *Sex and the City*, and *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit*. Winters also played "The Vulture" in *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* and starred in the 2014 film *John Wick*. In addition to his acting career, he has appeared in Allstate Insurance commercials as "Mayhem." More recently, he appeared in the 2023 Netflix film *The Out-Laws* and the 2024 AMC series *Monsieur Spade*.
