A principled African-American district attorney teams up with a corrupt but seasoned FBI veteran in 1990s Boston to dismantle a powerful armored car robbery ring, uncovering a web of systemic corruption that threatens to upend the city's justice system.
In the early 1990s in Boston, an African-American District Attorney from Brooklyn arrives with a mission to enact change. He forms an unexpected partnership with a respected but corrupt FBI veteran who is more focused on preserving the existing order. Together, they pursue a family of armored car robbers from Charlestown, a case that expands in scope and ultimately challenges and disrupts the broader criminal justice system of the city.
