Biography

Diane Louise Salinger is an American actress best known for her role as Apollonia, a central character in the television series *Carnivàle* (2003–2005). In the series, she plays a young woman with a mysterious link to the circus and the supernatural occurrences that drive the show's narrative. Her portrayal supports the series' examination of themes including faith, redemption, and the struggle between good and evil during the Great Depression. *Carnivàle*, created by Robert Singer, ran for two seasons before being canceled, but it gained a cult following due to its intricate storytelling and layered characters.
