Biography

Don Harper (18 March 1921 – 30 May 1999) was an Australian jazz violinist and composer. Over the course of his long and varied career, both in Australia and the UK, he frequently appeared on radio and television music programs and recorded numerous albums as a solo artist or as a bandleader. He also composed themes for television series such as World of Sport and Champion House, as well as incidental music for the 1968 *Doctor Who* story *The Invasion*.
