Synopsis

Tensions run high when a crazed bomber rigs a Los Angeles bus with a device that will kill everyone on board if the vehicle exceeds a certain speed. The driver, a former race car driver, must navigate the city's streets while evading police and trying to reach a safe zone before the bomb detonates. Along the way, he forms an uneasy alliance with a police officer who is determined to stop the bomber and save the passengers. As the chase intensifies, the driver and officer must confront their own pasts and work together to prevent a catastrophe.
