Biography

Felicity Kendall Huffman (born December 9, 1962) is an American actress who has worked in film, stage, and television. She portrayed executive producer Dana Whitaker on the ABC series *Sports Night* (1998–2000), for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination. She also played Lynette Scavo, a busy and stressed mother, on the ABC series *Desperate Housewives* (2004–present), a role that earned her an Emmy Award.

In 2005, Huffman received critical acclaim for her portrayal of a trans woman in the independent film *Transamerica*, for which she won a Golden Globe Award and was nominated for an Academy Award. She has appeared in other films, including *Reversal of Fortune*, *The Spanish Prisoner*, *Magnolia*, *Path to War*, *Georgia Rule*, and *Phoebe in Wonderland*.
