Biography

Izabella Miko is a Polish actress, dancer, film producer, and environmental activist. She gained international recognition for her role in the film *Coyote Ugly* (2000) and for appearing in The Killers' music videos "Mr. Brightside" and "Miss Atomic Bomb." Miko began her dance training in Poland and was recruited to study at the New York City Ballet at age 15. She later pursued acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute. Her American film debut came with *Coyote Ugly*, followed by a leading role in the vampire thriller *The Forsaken* (2001).
