Biography

Jane Adams is an American actress who made her Broadway debut in the original production of *I Hate Hamlet* in 1991. She won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her performance in the 1994 revival of *An Inspector Calls*. Among her film roles are those in *Happiness* (1998), *Wonder Boys* (2000), *Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind* (2004), and *Little Children* (2006). She also had a recurring role on the NBC sitcom *Frasier* from 1999 to 2000, and was nominated for the 2010 Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television for her work in the HBO series *Hung* (2009–11).
