Ray Drecker finds himself in increasingly difficult circumstances. Once a celebrated high school sports figure, he is now a middle-aged basketball coach going through a divorce and struggling to support his children. His already deteriorating home is destroyed by fire, worsening his financial situation. In an effort to secure additional income, Ray decides to use his most valuable asset in a final attempt to improve his life.
