Biography

Jonny Lee Miller is an English actor known for his diverse work in film and stage. He received early recognition for his roles as Simon "Sick Boy" Williamson in *Trainspotting* (1996) and Dade Murphy in *Hackers* (1995). Miller continued to receive critical acclaim for his performances in *Afterglow* (1997), *Mansfield Park* (1999), *Mindhunters* (2004), *The Flying Scotsman* (2006), *Endgame* (2009), and *T2 Trainspotting* (2017). For his role in *The Flying Scotsman*, he was nominated for Actor of the Year by the London Film Critics' Circle. He also appeared in *Melinda and Melinda* (2004), *Dark Shadows* (2012), and *Byzantium* (2013). In addition to his film career, Miller has had a notable stage career, including a performance in *Frankenstein* that earned him an Olivier Award for Best Actor.
