Biography
Martin Short is a Canadian comedian, actor, and writer known for his energetic performances in sketch comedy. He rose to prominence through his work in comedy and has since appeared in numerous films and television shows. Short has received critical acclaim for his roles, earning two Primetime Emmy Awards, two SAG Best Actor Awards, and a Tony Award. In recognition of his contributions to the arts, he was made an officer of the Order of Canada in 2019.
