Only Murders in the Building

Residents Charles, Oliver, and Mabel, who share a passion for true crime, become entangled in a real-life mystery after a neighbor dies in their Upper West Side building. They decide to investigate the incident and document their findings in a podcast.

As the group begins to investigate the victim's background, they also uncover details about Mabel's hidden history.

Oliver draws on his background as a theater director to analyze the clues in the case. At the same time, Charles and Mabel question a cat enthusiast whose conduct appears suspicious.

Suspecting the killer may be a reclusive celebrity, the team consults a well-known podcast host for guidance.

Mabel takes it upon herself to investigate the victim's recent activities, leading Charles and Oliver to secretly follow her, as they suspect she may be concealing important details.

Mabel invites her new friends, as well as a familiar face, to her childhood home for a visit with her mother. Meanwhile, Detective Williams begins to reevaluate the case as she approaches the beginning of her own motherhood.

As the investigation reveals a web of past crimes connected to the building, a mysterious young man starts to watch and influence Charles, Oliver, and Mabel from the shadows.

Frustrated by a lack of progress, the group decides to enlist their podcast's most dedicated fans for assistance.

As tensions escalate among the residents due to the building's poor reputation, the trio faces increasing pressure from a rising uprising. Charles is visited by a former colleague who provides new insight into his past.
