The Last Man on Earth

Phil grows increasingly unstable after discovering that Todd and Melissa are in a romantic relationship, prompting him to organize a community meeting to express his frustrations. Following an unsuccessful attempt to leave Todd stranded in the desert, Phil is touched by Todd's gratitude and ultimately cleans the pool, bringing an outhouse into his home.

However, when the cow actually disappears, Todd helps Phil take credit for it. Later, the group discovers the cow stuck in Carol's house. A flashback reveals that Carol had intentionally led the cow there, which leads to her deciding to move in with Phil.

Phil, overwhelmed by Carol's presence and the changes she brings to his life, prays to God for a second chance at life, and his prayer is unexpectedly answered.
