Biography

Kristen Joy Schaal is an American actress, comedian, and writer recognized for her high-pitched, childlike vocal style. She has voiced numerous animated characters, including Louise Belcher in *Bob's Burgers*, Mabel Pines in *Gravity Falls*, and Sarah Lynn in *BoJack Horseman*, for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Schaal has also appeared in live-action television series such as *Flight of the Conchords*, *30 Rock*, and *What We Do in the Shadows*, and has provided voices for films including *Despicable Me 2*, *Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2*, and the *Toy Story* franchise. She served as a recurring commentator on *The Daily Show* from 2008 to 2016 and voiced a character in the 2019 video game *Anthem*.
