Biography

Mia Farrow is an American actress and activist who gained early recognition for her role as Allison MacKenzie in the television series *Peyton Place*. She received critical acclaim for her performance as Rosemary in Roman Polanski's psychological horror film *Rosemary's Baby* (1968), earning a BAFTA Award and a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress. In the 1970s, Farrow continued her film career with roles in *Follow Me!* (1972), *The Great Gatsby* (1974), and *Death on the Nile* (1978). She is the younger sister of Prudence Farrow.
