Biography

Michael Edward O'Malley is an American actor, writer, and television producer known for his work in children's television and sitcoms. He gained early recognition for hosting the 1990s game shows *Get the Picture* and *Nickelodeon Guts*. In the late 1990s, he moved to Los Angeles to star in his own sitcom, *The Mike O'Malley Show*, for NBC. He is best known for his role as Jimmy Hughes on the CBS comedy *Yes, Dear*, which aired from 2000 to 2006. O'Malley also received an Emmy nomination for his portrayal of Burt Hummel on the Fox series *Glee*.
