Biography

Schuyler Fisk is an actress and singer-songwriter, the daughter of Academy Award-winning actress Sissy Spacek and production designer Jack Fisk. Her parents met on the set of *Badlands* (1973), in which Spacek starred; Fisk served as the film's art director. Born in Los Angeles, California, Fisk was raised in Virginia, where her parents made their home. After participating in school plays, she pursued acting, following in her mother's footsteps. In addition to her acting career, Fisk is a singer-songwriter signed to Universal Records. Her song "Paperweight" appeared on the soundtrack of the film *The Last Kiss* (2006). Universal Records planned to release an album of her folk music in 2007.
