Synopsis

Lucy uses an English-French dictionary to travel to Paris and find a promising artist whose work she believes will become valuable. She initially meets a con artist who swindles her by exchanging her American money for French currency. The resulting misadventures lead Lucy, Ethel, and Fred into a series of comedic mishaps that culminate in their being jailed.
