Mr. Sunshine

Ben Donovan is a self-centered manager of a modest San Diego sports arena who starts to reconsider his life on his 40th birthday. He works with his boss and arena owner, Crystal, who is attractive, powerful, and highly unpredictable. Alice, the charming and tomboyish marketing director, is both his colleague and friend with benefits. Alonzo, a former basketball player, is handsome and perpetually cheerful. Ben's assistant, Heather, is pretty and kind but unsettling due to her history of setting a former boyfriend on fire. Crystal's son, Roman, is a good-looking, naive new employee. The arena's operations crew, whom Ben collectively calls the "Steves," completes the team.
