Synopsis
Charles Foster Kane, a newspaper magnate, is taken from his mother during childhood and becomes the ward of a wealthy industrialist; consequently, each well‑meaning, tyrannical or self‑destructive action he undertakes throughout his life can be seen as a response to that formative trauma.
