Biography
Royden Denslow Webb was an American film music composer known for his contributions to numerous films, primarily with RKO Pictures. He was a co-founder and charter member of ASCAP and composed scores for hundreds of films. Webb is best remembered for his work in the film noir and horror genres, particularly for his collaborations with Val Lewton. His scores are noted for their atmospheric quality, enhancing the mood and tension of the films he worked on.
