Tina is eager to experience her first kiss at her 13th birthday party. However, when Louise accidentally breaks the deep fryer, Bob takes on a second job as a late-night cab driver to cover the cost of Tina’s celebration. Bob's challenges escalate when the parents of Tina’s crush refuse to allow their son to attend the party, forcing Bob to go to great lengths to ensure his daughter’s special day remains intact.

Linda runs a bed and breakfast, but finds that her guests are not as appreciative as she would hope. The situation worsens when Louise's room is rented to Teddy.

In an episode of *Bob's Burgers*, Bob faces off against the city art council when Linda's sister showcases her artwork at the restaurant.

When Bob's eccentric landlord, Mr. Fischoeder, visits the family, he reveals that Jimmy Pesto, the owner of Jimmy Pesto's Pizzeria across the street, is seeking to take over Bob's lease in order to expand his gift shop. With limited time and insufficient funds, the Belcher family must come up with a business idea or rely on some form of luck to save their restaurant.

Bob and his family are forced to spend the weekend at Mort the Mortician's home while their restaurant undergoes de-molding. Linda and Bob go on a double date with Mort and a female mortician he met online, while Tina babysits Gene and Louise at Mort’s crematorium.

When the town's annual Lobsterfest is canceled due to a storm, Bob decides to go ahead and open his restaurant for a celebration regardless. The next morning, he wakes to find the restaurant in disarray and discovers that the town has turned against him. Despite this, Bob remains determined and continues to participate in the events of the celebratory weekend.

Bob's hero is Torpedo Jones, a washed-up baseball player who begins pitching for the local minor league team. Torpedo befriends Bob, but the dark underbelly of minor league baseball poses a threat of corruption to the Belchers.
