A talented but clumsy comedy writer navigates the chaotic world of TV showbiz and the even more unpredictable dynamics of his own home life.
The Dick Van Dyke Show focuses on the professional and personal life of television comedy writer Rob Petrie. The series typically features storylines centered on workplace challenges, in which Rob finds himself in humorous situations alongside his colleagues Buddy Sorrell, Sally Rogers, and producer Mel Cooley.
